Listen Up!

I have always thought of myself as musically gifted... I can't carry a tune, but I know what I like when I hear it. I pride myself on identifying the next big thing... and I've got another feeling!

Dustin Lynch - "Cowboys & Angels" has that sound, the one that gives you goosebumps with his deep voice singing about rocking you to sleep, or gets you amped up singing about drinkin beer!

I am in LOVE with his new album - y'all have to check it out. You can hear it on Spotify, or just save yourself some time, and go straight to iTunes to download it :) If you still have your doubts, keep this in mind: he comes from Broken Bow Records - home of Mr. Jason Aldean...so you know it's got to be good!

 

Another plus?! He's coming to Iowa in 2 weeks so I can hear him in person! I can't wait to check out his live show.

 

Two other bands to pay attention to are: Florida Georgia Line (Cruise) and Parmalee (Musta Had a Good Time). Both have produced fun summer songs that will be sure to blow the speakers in your boat or truck!

 

Florida Georgia Line is teaming up with the one and only Jake Owen and Love and Theft for this year's CMT On Tour. This tour is said to help the headliner make that final leap to stardom. Seeing as how last year, Luke Bryan was the headliner...I'd say good things are in store for Jake! To see if you can catch these guys near you, click here to check out their schedule.

 

"Come Over" to the Top!

Anybody else out there in love with Kenny's new single "Come Over?" I must not be the only one - because it's his 24th number one hit!! 


The gold-selling track topped the Country singles chart in 11 weeks and marks a career first for the Lucky Old Son. "I don't know that I've ever had a booty-call song before, but this is definitely a booty-call song," he says. "But it's more than [that]. It's a very emotional song [about] being with someone that you're used to being with because the idea of moving forward is scarier than the idea of staying in what's comfortable. I think we all relate to that." Chesney will cap the week with Brothers Of The Sunshows in the Big Easy and Houston. 


Congrats Kenny - keep those hits comin!

If anybody else has been as excited as I am for new Jason Aldean music - you won't be disappointed! Today he released his next single "Take a Little Ride."

Make sure you get out to iTunes and download it today!! Perfect song to crank up in your car with the windows down!

Blake Shelton's Father

My thoughts and condolences go out to Blake & Miranda today who lost Blake's father after a lengthy illness. I hope everyone can be understanding as they reschedule their upcoming shows to be with family in this time of sorrow.

Concert Announcement!

It's just been announced that on Friday, July 20th - Blake Shelton will be gracing the stage at the Great Jones County Fair!! Opening acts have not yet been announced, and tickets go on sale January 27th at 10:00 am!

Looks like I know what I'll be getting my fiance for Valentines Day :)
